Account book, 1812-1831.

The account book contains material relating to the weaving of fabric in Dudley, Mass. in the period 1812 to 1815 (possibly, it is the financial records of the Dudley Merino Wool Factory, established in 1811 and owned jointly by local farmers). The volume also contains daybook entries, in the period 1820 to 1831, for the general store, evidently operated by Jepthah Bacon in Dudley. There are, at the end of the volume, miscellaneous accounts for the period 1822 to 1831 and accounts of Jepthah Bacon and his son, Peter Child Bacon (1804-1886).

1 v. (344 p.) ; folio.
